The Lock Zapper is a unique access denial device which prevents the use of a key to unlock a door. It is reversable, allowing it to be removed after deployment without damaging the lock. It is designed to work with both Schlage and Kwikset style keyways, ensuring compatibility with over 90% of door locks in the US.
When inserted into the lock’s keyway, the Lock Zapper cannot be removed without the removal tool (included). The device does not prevent the door from being opened from the inside, thereby eliminating the possibility of being accidentally locked in. The versatile design also allows the option of permanently disabling locks by simply cutting off the protruding portion after insertion.
The Lock Zapper has many useful applications. The device can be used to terminate or slow an unlawful pursuit, Law enforcement can quickly ensure that searched rooms remain “cleared”, and property managers can deny entrance to already evicted tenants until the locks can be changed. Potential domestic violence victims can disable locks until law enforcement arrives, and homeowners can protect themselves against lost or stolen house keys. The device can also be used inside your house to deny access to certain rooms.
An essential item for entry teams, landlords, and SERE kits.
