Your scene is safe, bleeding is controlled, it's time to secure the airway. This 28 Fr. Robertazzi style nasopharyngeal [NPA] airway is individually wrapped in sterile packing and comes with surgical lubricant in an easy to open poly bag that keeps everything right where you need it. A flared base prevents accidental over-insertion, and soft latex free construction minimizes risk of anaphylaxis in latex sensitive patients.
Indicated for unconscious and semi-conscious patients, when intubation is not an available option, and facial trauma would contraindicate use of an oral device.
