Sterile 2"x2" Non-Woven Gauze

With 12 years' experience as an EMT, I've had the chance to work with many different types of dressings.  When it comes to gauze pads, my personal preference has always been for non-woven "sponges".  Why? First of all - absorbency!  There's a reason they're called sponges - they absorb, and when you're dealing with a bleeding wound, I've always found absorbency to be a HUGE plus.  Secondly, they are virtually lint free.  The last thing you need to do is introduce MORE foreign material into your wound site.  And last but not least, if you don't have a non-adherent dressing available, conventional woven gauze can be very painful to remove and may even reopen superficial wounds.

The 2"x2" is a versatile first aid staple that should be in your home first aid kit, your car kit, sports bag, "Go Bag", and IFAK. In a pinch, gauze pads can be used as tinder or for pre-filtering water.

Due to customer feedback, we have now switched to the Dynarex brand pads.  Comparable quality, however, the coated wrapper is more durable and moisture resistant, making it even more suitable for field kits.   

Each pack contains 2 sterile, non-woven, 2"x2", 4-Ply gauze pads.

Sold individually or in a tray of 50 packs, each containing 2 pads.
